Hide-and-seek photo book talk at Winslow shop

Andrew Knapp and his dog Momo have gathered more than 630,000 Instagram followers with their stylish hide-and-seek photography, and published three books: “Find Momo,” “Find Momo Coast to Coast” and the children’s board book, “Let’s Find Momo!”

Now the lens-loving pair are celebrating their fourth collaboration, “Find Momo Across Europe,” and will be stopping by Eagle Harbor Book Company to talk about it at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8.

In the book, Knapp and Momo travel across the pond to explore the historic cities, beautiful landscapes, and diverse cultures of 19 European countries. Each of Knapp’s charming, Instagram-worthy photographs features Momo hiding somewhere — but where?

Readers will search for Momo at renowned attractions and off-the-beaten-path locations such as:

Chiado Square in Portugal and Plaza de España and Antoni Gaudí’s Casa Batlló in Spain, a walkable roller coaster in Germany and the picturesque countryside village of Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland, the Eiffel Tower and Mont-Saint-Michel in France and the Atomium building in Belgium, the Parthenon and Areopagus in Greece and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, ruins of Pompeii, and the Colosseum in Italy, Brighton Beach Pier and the London Eye in England and Snowdonia National Park in Wales, Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Skye in Scotland, and Dublin’s famous Temple Bar district in Ireland, a LEGOLAND reproduction of Copenhagen in Denmark and the iconic canals of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

“Find Momo Across Europe” also includes a translation cheat sheet for three words every dog-loving traveler should know when visiting Europe (“hello,” “thanks” and “dog”) and Knapp’s road trip anecdotes and travel tips for readers who want to bring their canine companions along on their own European tour.

Part photographic travelogue and part hide-and-seek game, “Find Momo Across Europe” is full of unforgettable images sure to inspire wanderlust in dog lovers, photography buffs, and armchair Insta-travelers of all ages.
