First Sundays Concerts will present flutist Joshua Romatowski and pianist Mayumi Tayake in concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 7 at Waterfront Park Community Center.

The pair will perform works by Seattle-based composer Daniel Carr. Carr’s music has been described as “undoubtedly of the 21st century in terms of technique and virtuosity yet retaining the elegant lyricism, driving rhythms and colorful harmonies which audiences love to hear and musicians love to perform.”
