BHS’ Winter One Acts postponed due to winter weather

The second and final two shows of this year’s Bainbridge High School Winter One Acts play festival have been canceled, along with all school district activities for the next two days, due to imminent dangerous weather.

A winter storm warning will remain in place from noon Friday through 4 p.m. Saturday for the Puget Sound area, according to the National Weather Service’s office in Seattle.

Much of western Washington is expecting heavy snow.

School across Kitsap County will close prematurely today, including on Bainbridge Island, where classes will end two hours early. All afternoon and evening activities have also been canceled.

Rescheduled dates for the final Winter One Acts shows have not yet been announced.
