Holiday events coming up on Bainbridge Island

Downtown Celebration:

Home for the Holidays is from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 27 in downtown Winslow. Enjoy free horse-drawn carriage rides, cider and cookies, Santa and friends arrival at 5:30 p.m. followed by the tree lighting. Info: visit www.bainbridgedowntown.org.

Holiday concert:

Holiday Concerts:

SANTALAND DIARIES and CHRISTMAS CABARET:

A two-part evening of PG-13 entertainment features a comedy about Crumpet the Elf and a glittering holiday performance featuring the cast of BPA’s recent Rocky Horror Show. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1 at BPA. Cost: $20. Info: www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org.

December Art Walk:

Santa photos:

Miniature Village:

Holidays on The EDGE:

Meet the Winemakers:

The Sound of Music:

Tickets are on sale now for Ovation! Dickens Reads Dickens:

Enjoy an authentic recreation of Charles Dickens’ public reading tours of the 1860s in England and North America at 5 p.m., Dec. 5 at the Historic Lynwood Theatre. IMC Concert:

Annie:

BPA’s production of Annie, directed by Steven Fogell and Gabe Carbajal, runs Dec. 10-19 at BPA. A Pay-What-You-Can Preview is Thursday, Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m., and the Opening Night Reception is Friday, Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. Shows are Thursdays – Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., plus 3 p.m. matinees on Saturdays and Sundays. Parade of Boats:

Light a candle and welcome the arrival of Argosy’s Christmas Ship, accompanied by a flotilla of decorated boats rom 6-8 p.m. Dec. 13 at Waterfront Park. Enjoy holiday music and caroling, free cocoa and hot cider. Candles provided. Decorate your own boat with holiday spirit and join the party.
