Bainbridge Island artist John Adams is the headline artist for this month’s exhibition at the Front Street Gallery in Poulsbo. Adams’ work will be on display from Saturday, July 12 to Sunday, Aug. 3.

Adams specializes in watercolors. He began painting as a child growing up on the Gulf Coast and studied art at an early age. He especially enjoyed painting seascapes and mountains, which continue to provide inspiration for his work.

Adams graduated from Stetson University in Florida with a bachelor’s degree in studio art and art history. He settled in the Seattle area in 1985 and has since become an elected signature member of both the National and Northwest Watercolor Societies.

“I will be exhibiting new original watercolors of the Pacific Northwest along with smaller paintings, prints and cards,” Adams said. “This promises to be a fun, colorful summer art exhibition.”

Front Street Gallery is located at 18881-A Front St. NE in Poulsbo.
