BAC restarts library benefit book donation program

Bainbridge Arts & Crafts (previously temporarily know as The Art Project) is bringing back its art and design book donation program.

Over the years, the program raised $17,000 for the Bainbridge Public Library, donated to support the purchase of books focused on art. Now, after a temporary hiatus, the program is up and running again and seeking donations.

How it works: Community members donate gently used art and design books to BAC, which they then display. Gallery patrons pay what they think fair for the books and BAC sends the proceeds to the library.

Books can be dropped off at BAC anytime during regular business hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
