Road workers earn praise for storm help | Letter to the editor

To the editor:

This storm series was the worst I’ve seen in 35 years living on Bainbridge Island, with new bad weather every day.

I give a big shout out of high praise to the city of Bainbridge Island maintenance workers who have had to pre-treat our roads, scrape our roads, re-treat our roads, plow our roads, and then do it over and over again. And get to smaller roads after dark!

Tributes also to our state highways workers and utility workers for long hard cold hours!

Time for EACH of us to get our chops together about how to drive in snow and slush, cope with long power outages, amd how to stock up on food!
