Threats an outrage

To the editor

I am writing with regards to the intimidation and death threats that people counting the votes in the last election have received. These are attacks on the fundamental principles of our democracy, which include the right and responsibility to vote and have those votes counted without intimidation or death threats.

Outrage is the appropriate response to these attacks. I am asking you to urge your readers to contact their elected officials, whichever side of the aisle they are on, and ask them to express outrage on these attacks on our democracy.

Pick from hat

To the editor:

Just two suggestions to our City Council and Mr.Pollock.

1 . Put candidates’ names in hat and pick one.

2 . Put a Native American on council for obvious reasons.
