Bainbridge Landing is perfect place | Letter to the editor

To the editor:

I was reading a letter to the editor in one of the other papers and was in complete agreement with the letter writer, but for different reasons.

In a nutshell, she claimed the Bainbridge Landing project is being approved without the public process being served. No adequate time for the Planning Commission to review, consider and have input on this project.

And they do need time to review the Bainbridge Landing project, but as the perfect place for creating the low-income housing Bainbridge Island so badly needs; walking distance to the Seattle Ferry or the Kitsap Transit Station and Downtown Winslow for shopping.

The Planning Commission should re-think the possibilities this project and could add to our Island.
