To the editor:

As I sit and read the Bainbridge Review every Friday morning, I read pages and pages of accolades about Bainbridge athletes.

I thoroughly enjoy reading these; however, it doesn’t seem right that the athletes receive these in the paper but the students who aren’t athletes don’t fully get their accolades.

I also used to enjoy reading the honor roll in the Review. Sometimes that was the only way I knew my children made the honor roll, which they didn’t always do. I know it is a school district decision to omit the honor roll but shouldn’t our academic students also get their accolades?
