Art Bar now open

Tim Lowell, an art and science teacher on the island, has opened a Mosaic Art Bar at the Pavilion.

The art studio will provide a space for people to create mosaic pieces with tumbled-safe recycled glass, Lowell said. The space will allow children and adults to make gifts and large art projects with the glass and wood provided.

Lowell said the new business is on the second floor and will be open from noon to 6 p.m. seven days a week. Lowell said the concern is also part of the Bainbridge Island Art Education Consortium.
