McBride’s stages annual fundraiser

McBride’s Hallmark, on High School Road, has devoted April 24 to raising awareness and funds for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. For the third year in a row, McBride’s will host a silent auction and offer door prizes, breast-cancer awareness items, breast cancer information and refreshments.

Stop by the store during business hours. For details, call 842-8377.

Network at After Hours

Or perhaps this month, it should be called transmitting rather than networking. This month’s Chamber of Commerce After Hours will celebrate the new Transmitter Buildling at Battle Point Park.

The gathering, hosted by the Bainbridge Island Park and Recreation District, will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. April 24. The public is invited to tour the facility, nosh on food and sip beverages. For information, call 842-3700.
