Spartans declaw HNA Cougars 14-3

BAINBRIDGE – The Spartans dusted Holy Names in five innings in varsity fastpitch softball Wednesday, 14-3.
It was a competitive contest for one inning — the first.
Heading into the second stanza 1-1, Bainbridge blew up the scoreboard and crushed the Cougars with 10 more runs.
Holy Names tried to rally in the fifth but could muster only two runs.
Riley Gregoire was simply sensational. She had two home runs and finished 3-for-3 at the plate, with six RBIs and three runs.
Deahna King pitched for the Spartans and had six strikeouts.
