SWERV hosts videographer John F. Williams as this week’s guest speaker

All women are invited to attend Savvy Women Exchanging Relevant Views to see the newest work of return guest John F. Williams at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 9 at Filipino American Hall.

Williams is a well-known videographer of local waters who has expanded his filming to include beaches and forest. In his presentation “Watersheds to Whitecaps: Myriad lives intertwined,” he’ll be sharing portions of his videos and excerpts from his newest book, including Kitsap and Bainbridge examples, to explain how all creatures as well as rocks, currents and so much else are linked, that there is indeed a “system” in ecosystem.

He’ll also explain how we can represent such larger systems, without over-simplification, using new tools.
