Bainbridge VIPs get tech help at this week’s meeting

The Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 8 at Bethany Lutheran Church.

John Sheahan and Yang-Su Cho from the Washington Department of Services for the Blind will share details on the latest in the App Store and devices for VIPs.

There will be time for questions, so visitors should bring smart phones/tablets and any tech devices that are portable.

The VIPs will also listen to a recording from the Braille Institute’s Sound Solutions program on the subject: “What to do when a loved one loses sight.”
