Four BHS students arrested for indecent exposure

Four Bainbridge High School students were arrested for repeatedly exposing themselves to two special-needs students, police said.
The suspects, all males between the ages of 14 and 16, allegedly harassed one of the victims at least 50 times since the first incident last summer.
Deputy Police Chief Mark Duncan said the harassment began when one of the suspects urinated in a downtown park, provoking a strong negative reaction by one of the two victims. Duncan said the incidents continued and that the teens later exposed themselves to a different special-needs student.
“We’re still investigating,” he said. “But it got to a point where we had to make the conduct stop.”
One of the suspects also allegedly posted insulting comments on the victims’ My Space page.
The parents of the first victim told school officials about the harassment last fall, but the legal investigation didn’t begin until January, when they filed a sexual assault protection order against the four suspects and a police report. In addition to indecent exposure charges, the teens could be charged with malicious harassment and assault.
Bainbridge Police are asking any additional victims or their parents to call Det. Maurine Stich at 842-5211.
