Faye Lawlis, 82, of Bainbridge Island, died Oct. 14.
She was born May 27, 1923, in Fisher County, Texas. She graduated from McCaulley High School in West Texas.
She married W.T. Lawlis and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, being with friends and caring for her cats.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and her sons Delvin and Bob. She is survived by her son Ron L. Lawlis of Austin, Texas, and grandchildren Daisha, Summer, Justin and Roger.
Services were Oct. 17 with inurnment at Seabold Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove.
