Eileen M. Wonders

Eileen Mildred Wonders died Dec. 13 in Seattle at the age of 83.

She was born on July 30, 1922 to John Olander and Irene Wallace.

She was a native of Longmont, Colo. and a resident of Poulsbo for 22 years.

She was a faithful member of the First Lutheran Church in Poulsbo. She was Worthy Grand Matron of the Eastern Star from 1982-1983 and served as a Gray Lady for the Red Cross in Europe.

She was an avid quilter and knitter. She also enjoyed being with her family and playing piano and golf.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Wonders of Poulsbo; her daughter, Glenda Specht and her husband Tom of Puyallup; her brother, John Olander of Columbus, Neb.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 22 at the First Lutheran Church, 18920 Fourth Ave. NE in Poulsbo.
