JoLynn (Josephine) Pollak passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 14, at West Hills Adult Care Facility in Los Angeles, CA.
She is survived by her 5 children, Raymond Bambery, Cynthia Christensen, Francine Sadowsky, Patrick and Scott Mattos , 3 grandchildren, Jackie Groah, Michael Mirisch and Tess Sadowsky. She also left behind 3 great- grandchildren, Liam Groah, Chole and Erika Mirisch and her much beloved Chihuahua, “Sweetheart”, who will miss her very much. (Sweetheart was adopted by her good friend Deborah Gorin in Los Angeles).
Jo Lynn moved to Bainbridge Island in 1998. She loved living on the island and made many friends at the “Winslow Arms” apartments. She was seen everyday at least three times a day walking her dog Sweetheart and stopping to talk to everyone along the way. She will be greatly missed.
