Robert Deschamps, 89

Capt. Robert Deschamps, died Dec. 25, 2009. He was 89.

Born in Seattle in 1920, Robert attended St. Margarets, Seattle College High School, Queen Anne High School, and Seattle College. He was a member of the Masters, Mates and Pilots Union and the Council of American Master Mariners. A veteran of World War II, and the Korean and Vietnam Wars, he retired from the Puget Sound Pilots in 1985.

He was preceded in death by Pauline, his wife of 57 years. He is survived by their children Jeanne, Paul and Suzanne.
