He was born in Seattle on June 24, 1935 to Mr. and Mrs. Victor Hilberg, of Bainbridge Island, and was a 1954 graduate of Bainbridge High School. A gathering will be held at 1 p.m. April 11 at the Sons of Norway in Poulsbo. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bainbridge Island Fire Department.
