Patricia Stenman, 76
Patricia Stenman, died on Dec. 15 at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton. She was 76.
She was born on Jan. 3, 1933 to Clarence and Dorothy Carroll in Duluth, Minn. and lived in Minnesota, Texas, California and Alaska.
She graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School in Juneau, Alaska and then worked in civil service with the U.S. Army from 1953-1959. She was married to her husband Gordon Stenman for 50 years.
Patricia was a member of the Poulsbo First Lutheran Church and the Martha Circle. She served as the financial secretary for the church for over 20 years. Patricia enjoyed baking and taking care of her family. She also enjoyed crosswords, reading, beating everyone at Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, vacations to Maui and cruising the high seas.
She is survived by her husband Gordon Stenman of Poulsbo; children Kristan Stenman and Brent Stenman (Jeanna) all of Poulsbo; siblings Charlotte Carroll-Irwin (Steve) of Juneau, Alaska, sister-in-law Susan Schwab of Annapolis, Md.; grandchildren Emily Wildung, Curtis Wildung, Jacquelyn Stenman, Kasey Stenman; and great-grandson Devin Allen, all of Poulsbo. Also, nephew Patrick Carroll (Linda) and niece Erin Carroll of Juneau, Alaska.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Dorothy Carroll; brother and sister in-law; Larry and Joan Carroll and brother Curtis Carroll.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Dec. 20 at First Lutheran Church, 18920 4th Ave. NE in Poulsbo. Private interment will take place at the First Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 825, Poulsbo, WA 98370.
