Howard Dressner Fischer

Howard Dressner Fischer of Lemolo died June 28. He was 77.

He was born on Sept. 1, 1926. He married Marjorie Metz on Nov. 23, 1957 in Coronado, Calif.

Fischer served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He also served at Nas Orote, Guam as staff commander of the first tank fleet and USS Wheatear AM390.

He is survived by sons Brian Andrew (Karen) Fischer of Poulsbo and Evan Patrick (Theresa) Fischer of Tacoma; daughter Ann Colleen Bucklin of Vancouver; brother Col. Sherril Harvey (Maraki) Fischer of Arlington, Va.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie.

At his request, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the People’s Memorial Society of Seattle and Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
