Jeannette Love Fox

Jeannette Love Fox, 71, of Bainbridge Island, died Aug. 18 of complications from pneumonia at Bremerton’s Harrison Hospital.

She was born Jeannette Irene Love in Missoula, Mont., on April 25, 1934, to Ross Niles Love and Alma (Price) Love, and grew up in Bremerton.

She graduated from Bremerton High School in 1952 and attended the University of Washington.

She married Peter Rinearson in 1953 and lived in Seattle and then Woodinville for many years.

In 1991 she married Kenneth Fox and lived in Fife before moving to Bainbridge Island in 1996.

She worked in school administration at Lakeside School in Seattle from 1971 to 1978.

She was active in the Master Gardeners programs of both Pierce and Kitsap counties, and volunteered at IslandWood on Bainbridge.

She was an active communicant of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church on Bainbridge Island, serving on the Altar Guild.

She seldom passed a child of any age without a smile and a kind word.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Fox, and four sons from her first marriage: Peter Mark Rinearson and wife Jill, and their daughters Tess and Hannah; Wistar Rinearson and wife Julie, and their daughter Emily and son Ian; son Matthew Rinearson; and son Patrick Rinearson and his son, Niles, all of the Seattle area. She is also survived by her brother David Love and his wife, Phyllis, of Carmichael, California.

Her older brother, Burt Love, and her younger sister, Jeanice Green, preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 26 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. Memorials may be made to Northwest Harvest, Habitat for Humanity or St. Barnabas Church.
