Georgia Addington

Georgia Louise Addington, of Bainbridge Island, died on Aug. 6 at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. She was 75.
She was born on Sept. 4, 1933 and moved to Bainbridge 28 years ago from Anchorage, Alaska. She was a member of Island Church and The Eastern Star, was a volunteer for the Girl Scouts of America, studied Latin and was a volunteer for the Frye Art Museum.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Addington in 1979, her son David Addington and brother Quentin Layer.
She is survived by her son, Jonathan Scott Addington and her grandson, Bjorn Addington.
A memorial service will be held on at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at Island Church.
