Nigel B. Elias

Former Bainbridge Island resident Nigel B. Elias, 27, died Nov. 18 at his home in Eureka, Ill.

He was born Dec. 29, 1976, in Streator, Ill., to William and Mary Muscato Elias.

He attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He was a sous chef in the Seattle and Bainbridge area for the last five years.

He enjoyed the outdoors, especially canoeing, kayaking and camping.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Mary and Mike Biros; his father William Elias; and two half-brothers and one half-sister.

A celebration of Nigel’s life was held Nov. 22 at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka Ill. The Rev. Richard P. Richards officiated.
