Francisco Magculang

Francisco L. Magculang, 81, died on April 20 at his home on Bainbridge Island.
He was born in Boac, Marinduque, Philippines on July 12, 1927. He moved to Bainbridge Island in the autumn of 1990 and spent most of his retirement caretaking his son in-law’s and daughter’s farm, maintaining a raspberry patch and fruit trees and growing vegetables and corn in the summer. He attended St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
He is survived by Rick and Minnie Almojuela of Bainbridge Island; son Roque (Juanita) Magculang and their children Ryan, Roxanne, Rainer and Russell; son Francisco (Criselda) Magculang, Jr., and their children Melissa, Michael, Maynard and Maricon; son Romualdo Magculang; daughter Monica Amor; two great-grandchildren, Nichol Jane and Clark Benedict; and sisters Belen, Andrea, Consolacion, Catalina and their families, all of Boac.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. May 9 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. An online guest book is at www.cookfamilyfuneralhome.com.
