Arthur N. Mirkovich, 68
Arthur N. Mirkovich died Feb. 17. He was 68.
Art was born on Aug. 22, 1941.
He was a life-long resident of Bainbridge Island. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1960 and had a career as a civil design engineer. He was an active member of the St. Cecilia Parish.
He was preceded in death by parents Martin and Christina Mirkovich and brother-in-law Varian Wellbrock.
Art is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Mirkovich (Wellbrock); children Michele Frech (John), Krista Pal (Sanjay), and Douglas Mirkovich (Kathy); three grandchildren; sister Marlene Wellbrock; and brother Martin Mirkovich (Brenda).
A funeral mass was held at St. Cecilia Catholic Church Feb. 23 and burial Feb. 24 at Holyrood Cemetery, Shoreline.
