Maxine Elaine Jacobson
Maxine Elaine Jacobson died March 31 at Island Health and Rehabilitation on Bainbridge Island. She was 90.
She was born on Dec. 17, 1919, in Arlington.
Maxine was a resident of Bainbridge Island. She owned a bakery in Winslow in the 1950s and was also a cook in several restaurants in Ocean Shores.
She was a chef for the Washington State Senate for 16 years. She enjoyed volunteering at the Helpline House for 10 years.
Maxine was an elder of the Snoqualmie Tribe. While employed by the Senate, she had the pleasure of meeting with and cooking for many foreign dignitaries, senators and governors.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband Eric Jacobson and children Ray and Joe Muholland.
She is survived by her son Jon Jacobson and daughter in-law Joyce of Bainbridge Island; sisters Pat Carlson of Lynnwood and Lottie of Ukiah, Calif.; sister-in-law Delores Bertrand of Tonaket; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
