Trash is the new black.

Together with Earth Art Bainbridge and Sustainable Bainbridge’s Zero Waste, Eagle Harbor Congregational Church hosts “Trashion Show” from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 10.

Local residents will showcase ensembles made from repurposed clothing and recycled items and audience members will have the chance to participate in a design dash of their own.

The show will be emceed by Buy Nothing Bainbridge co-founder Rebecca Rockefeller and includes refreshments and a silent auction.

Tickets are $10 per person or $5 for students or seniors. They are available online at www.trashion.eventbrite.com and at the door.

Earth Art Bainbridge is supported by a grant from the Bainbridge Community Foundation. Its purpose is to provoke thoughtful conversation and action related to climate change through art.
