To the editor:

Re-elect Charlie Wiggins to Washington State Supreme Court Position 6.

Charlie’s six-year experience on the court, founded on two-and-a-half decades of legal experience, much of that experience in appellate case law (what better background could a Supreme Court Justice have?) makes him the only real choice for Supreme Court Position 6 on Nov. 8.

We are fortunate to know Charlie and Nancy Wiggins as neighbors and friends. They are exceptional people. Charlie is a man of highest integrity. Drill down into his resume; I have. There you will find a person uniquely qualified to be our Supreme Court justice. Brilliant of mind, holding a unique historical understanding of the Washington State Constitution and State Law. And most importantly, having a passion for justice for the citizens of Washington state. We believe that Charlie Wiggins gives his absolute all for each and every case before the court. And the citizens of the state are the winners!

But wait! Charlie Wiggins’ seat is in extreme jeopardy! How could this be? Justice Wiggins has high ratings and endorsements. The jeopardy is real! Its source is big money; HUGE money!

A group of billionaires has funded and strategically timed and launched an 11th hour, nearly $1 million, TV and radio ad blitz in a shamelessly transparent, special-interest-dripping effort, to bludgeon Justice Wiggins off the court and to buy Supreme Court Position 6 for their own political toolbox.
