Spartans deliver Puyallup putdown

If the outcome was ever in question, any doubts were erased early on as the Spartans pummeled Puyallup from the start, with a half-dozen goals in quick succession.

Bainbridge led 5-0 with a goal by Olson with 20:12 left to play in the first half.

Paige Brigham followed with another goal — one of three in the game for her — moments later.

The Spartans continued to suffocate Puyallup and led 10-0 with nearly 14 minutes left before intermission.

Nine Bainbridge players in all scored in the game.

Amy Willerford had the Spartans’ second hat trick of the night, and also poured in three goals.

Robin Hilderman contributed two goals to the Bainbridge victory, while Mackenzie Chapman, Sophia Hagstromer, Maggie Sweeney and Kyra Wortley each added one.
