The Spartans dished out a triple beatdown, a perfect performance, at their final home meet of the season last week, making short work of competitors from Bishop Blanchet, Lakeside and Eastside Catholic.

The Bainbridge High varsity wrestling team ended the night 39-27 against Blanchet, 33-22 over Eastside Catholic and defeated both of the Lakeside wrestlers they faced as well.

The year’s final home meet on Jan. 15 also marked BHS Senior Night, and the team’s four senior wrestlers were recognized. The four senior grapplers are Jonathan Gallivan, Joaquin Gurza, Jordan Jackson and Liam Topham.

Review photographer Luciano Marano was by the mat to capture all the action. His favorite shots are collected here.
