Chinese language camps begin next week

The Bainbridge Mandarin Learning Center will offer two immersion Chinese language camps this summer for youth in the first through eighth grade.

Students can learn to read, write and speak Chinese and its culture, i.e., calligraphy, crafts, poetry, cooking and games.

The camps are from 9 a.m. to noon at Hyla Middle School. The camp is Aug. 6 through Aug. 10.
