Nestled in the heart of Bainbridge Island, surrounded by old growth forest, the nine-hole course at Meadowmeer Golf & Country Club offers an inviting Pacific Northwest setting for golfers of all skill levels.

“It’s a beautiful, walkable course that offers a challenge but is still enjoyable for all,” says Meadowmeer general manager Katy Goldsberry. “We offer prime members-only tee-times to ensure our members can always get a tee-time, while providing some public tee times as well.”

Expansive greens and four sets of tee boxes deliver a flexible nine-hole course designed to provide a complete 18-hole experience with every round.

Additional play and practice options await at the Indoor Golf Center – perfect for those blustery West Coast days when you still want to hit the fairway. Featuring four state-of-the-art hitting bays equipped with Trackman technology, you can play legendary courses, shoot target challenges and more, regardless of what’s happening outside!

Meadowmeer welcomes new head pro

Theo Miller was a familiar face at Meadowmeer growing up, both as a young player and as part of the pro shop staff during high school and college.

Today, Miller is putting that experience to good use, returning as the course’s new golf pro – a welcome homecoming for the talented golfer and instructor.

“It’s great being back at Meadowmeer and returning to the island,” Miller says. “This place holds many fond memories for me growing up and I’m looking forward to creating many more as the new Head Professional.”

As a golf pro, Miller offers a variety of lesson options for golfers of all ages, supporting those new to the game as well as more experienced golfers wanting to improve their handicap. Also helping to keep your game on point is Director of Golf Mike Landolt, who offers additional expertise in club fitting, repairs and re-gripping, with an onsite shop and quick turn-around.

Membership matters

Focused on creating a welcoming setting for all golfers, Meadowmeer offers two family memberships options, both including two partners and any children living at home or attending college. Full memberships are available for those aged 45+, with intermediate memberships available for those younger than 45.

Reasonable monthly dues then allow unlimited golf, year-round, for the whole family at both the nine-hole outdoor course and the indoor golf center.

While the club is open to non-members, one of the real benefits during the busy season is prime access for members, Goldsberry says. The social aspect of membership also appeals to many, with options including men’s and women’s leagues, “wine and nine’s” and other special events,  such as live music and trivia nights.

“And our Meadowmeer Bar and Grill, which serves our award-winning Best of Bainbridge Cheeseburger and Fries, is a great place for members to unwind after golf or visit with friends,” she says.

“Our members really enjoy the great sense of community at Meadowmeer. Many have been with us for 30 years or more, but they’re very welcoming to new members as well.”
