North Kitsap’s girls softball team pounded Bainbridge last week 15-1.

The Vikings scored eight run in the bottom of the first inning to take a lead it would never relinquish.

Makayla Stockman scored on a groundout by Ava Armistead. Kasey Wallace smacked a double off the rightfield fence. A batter hit by a pitch and another getting on via error loaded the bases.

Cerenity Fake scored on a single and another run came in on a fielder’s choice. Kailee Engdahl got on base. Anna Wetzsteon hit to run and got on then stole a base. Stockman ripped a shot to leftfield before a groundout ended the inning.

The Vikings split two other games, beating Auburn 11-1, but losing to Olympic 5-0.

Bainbridge split two other games, beating Central Kitsap 19-10 in a slugfest, but losing to Sequim 8-4.

Kingston lost it’s two games 8-7 to North Mason and 8-2 to Olympic.
