Braydon Morgan (with ball) makes an inside move to the basket while James Carey (23) blocks out for a potential rebound.

Cliff Hennessey put on quite a show Tuesday night.

The 5-foot-11 senior guard exploded offensively in the second half to lead the Bainbridge boys basketball team to a 69-35 romp over visiting Olympic.

The home team had a comfortable 37-14 advantage at halftime, but it just grew from there.

Hennessey was the catalyst, basically being a one-man show in the third period.

Three times he scored buckets driving to the hoop and putting up a runner from 5-10 feet away. He drove in for a layup and scored off a designed inbounds play after a timeout, too. To end the quarter he hit a 3 to make it 50-26.

He started off the final quarter the same way, connecting on 3-4 free throws and a fastbreak layup.

He showed he can pass the ball, too, with an assist to Everett Moore for a layup after breaking the Trojans press. The Spartans broke the press again when James Carey passed to Noah Davis, before Hennessy scored again doing the same thing.

Carey grabbed an offensive rebound and scored, Breno Oguri assisted an inside bucket by Moore and Harris Intihar connected on a 3 for the final score.
