‘Being Mortal’ to be screened at the library

The Bainbridge Public Library will host a presentation of the PBS film, “Being Mortal,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17.
The movie is based on the book by Boston surgeon Atul Gawande. After the film, a discussion will be led by a former hospice nurse.
