SEATTLE – The Bainbridge High varsity boys soccer team was mauled Friday, March 31 by the Lakeside Lions, on the road, in a 1-0 shutout loss.
The defeat brought the island team’s overall season record thus far to 4-2-2 (4-3-1 in conference).
Ballard (7-0 in conference) recently usurped the top spot in the Metro standings from O’Dea (6-1).
The loss to Lakeside was the island team’s final outing before a brief Spring Break hiatus, which will see the Spartans return to the field at home at 6 p.m. Monday, April 10 to face off against the Fighting Irish of O’Dea, a match which promises much drama.
