Sorry, Annie. Looks like you’ll have to wait until the day after next for a little sunshine in your life.
That’s the latest forecast for this weekend’s weather on Bainbridge Island.
According to the National Weather Service in Seattle, showers are likely on the Rock on Saturday.
It will stay cloudy, and the chance of precipitation is pegged at 60 percent. The good news: there may not be much. Less than a tenth of an inch is expected to rain on our collective parade.
Saturday will see lighter winds than Friday, with south winds of 11 mph expected. The high temperature may top out at around 52 degrees.
Skies will stay mostly cloudy overnight Saturday, with the thermometer dipping to a low around 37.
Any chance of sun will come on Sunday, which may turn out to be a mostly cloudy day with a high near 55.
Rain, however, is forecast for Sunday night — and the chance of precipitation is 80 percent. Up to a quarter of an inch is possible.
Heading into next week, look for daytime temperatures to remain in the mid 50s as the prospect of more rain continues through Friday.
