Temperance and Ruthy are this week’s adoptable pets.

For adoption through PAWS:

Temperance is a 1-year-old shorthaired sweet and petitie tabby female who has lived in a foster home with older children and other cats. She was not fond of the dogs in the home. Temperance is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly to be quite the snugglebug.

Meet Temperance at the PAWS Pleasant Beach adoption center, open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

For adoption through Kitsap Humane Society:

Ruthy, a toy-loving, 5-year-old Bullmastiff mix, is an affectionate, adorable companion.

She is the best listener while you sing or tell secrets; a perfect couch companion while watching movie marathons; and a great walking partner.
