On this jolly island, firefighters not only save lives, they also spread seasonal cheer.

The Holiday Music Truck revs up next week, delivering 13 days of Santa- and snow-studded tunes straight to your cul-de-sac.

The Chrismahanukwanzakah harbingers will make their first drive south of Beck Road and Blakely Avenue from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11.

Their merry music continues on Monday, Dec. 12 west of Lynwood Center Road, including Baker Hill, Crystal Springs and Point White.

On Wednesday, Dec. 14, the truck will broadcast around Eagledale, Rockaway Beach and Port Blakely.

Thursday, Dec. 15, the firefighters will share their spirit south of High School Road, between Blakely Avenue and Lynwood Center.

They’ll move closer to the North Pole that Friday, Dec. 16 as they cheer up neighborhoods around Sportsman Club Road and New Brooklyn Road.

Saturday, Dec. 17, Meadowmeer, Tolo and Lovgreen will get the “Rudolph” treatment, with Manzanita Bay just behind on Sunday, Dec. 18.

Bainbridge’s northeast neighborhoods will be serenaded Dec. 19 through Dec. 21, with the holiday truck reaching Ferncliff, Wing Point and Yeomalt on Thursday, Dec. 22.

Just before the big guy comes, on Friday, Dec. 23 — or Festivus, in Seinfeld circles — Winslow will have its squawk box spectacular. Last but not least is a vaguely defined trip back to unreached areas near Sportsman Club Road, Highway 305 and New Brooklyn, which will happen on the first day of Hanakkuh, also known as Christmas Eve.
