The planetarium show “Cosmology, Dark Matter, and Dark Energy” comes to Ritchie Observatory at Battle Point Park at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12.

Astronomer Steve Ruhl will look at the big picture and the 96 percent of the universe that we do not understand.

There will also be Special Kids Shows at 5 and 6 p.m. with Dr. Erica.

If the sky is clear, astronomers will be on hand with telescopes for public star gazing afterward.

Admission is free to members of the Battle Point Astronomical Association; $2 donation suggested for nonmembers, $5 for families.
