BAINBRIDGE – The Spartans easily splashed past Bishop Blanchet 139-40 in boys swimming and diving late last week at the Bainbridge Island Aquatic Center.

It was a tsunami of a win in the Jan. 15 meet: BHS won all 12 events, and also placed first, second and third in the 200-yard individual medley, the 100-yard butterfly, the 100-yard backstroke and the 100-yard breaststroke.

Parker Bushey placed first for the Spartans in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.02, and was also first in the 100-yard free, finishing in 51.47.

Makai Ingalls was the 200-yard IM winner, with a first-place time of 2:05.39.

Carter Hall won the 500-yard freestyle for Bainbridge in 5:23.30.

In the 100-yard backstroke, Kevin Houseman placed first for BHS in 1:101.56, followed by teammates Garrett Waite (1:05.13) and Adrien Chaussabel (1:09.52). Houseman also won the 200-yard free with a time of 1:56.71.

The Spartans next traveled to Ballard for a meet Friday, Jan. 22 before returning home for a matchup against Lakeside on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
