No injuries were reported after a white Lincoln Town Car crashed into the front of the Kitsap Bank branch on High School Road Tuesday afternoon.

The car, which Bainbridge Island Police Department officials said was driven by “an elderly man” came to a stop inside the bank in front of the counter in the main reception area after reportedly being driven though one of the building’s large front windows.

Several police and BIFD vehicles responded, and remained on scene, awaiting the arrival of a tow truck to remove the vehicle.
