Carol J. Brown
Aug. 21, 1930 – Nov. 2, 2015
Carol J. Brown died peacefully on Nov. 2, 2015. She was born Aug. 21, 1930.
She was a registered nurse and worked at the Winslow Clinic, the Poulsbo Clinic, and a nursing home in Lynwood. She retired from Swedish Hospital in 1992.
Carol enjoyed quilting and was in the quilter’s guild for many years. She sang and acted in Bainbridge Light Opera productions in the late 1960s and early 1970s. She always had an optimistic outlook on life and was always seeking new adventures. And she passed that on to her children. Her role as a mother and grandmother was important to her.
She is survived by her children, Steve, Kathy and Beth; and her grandchildren Tristan, Rachel and Sarah.
A potluck gathering for anyone who wishes to remember Carol will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 21, her birthday, at Fay Bainbridge Park.
