‘Unity’ documentary to be shown on Bainbridge

Fathom Events and Specticast are partnering to present a special one-time-only screening of the documentary film “Unity” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12 at Bainbridge Cinemas.

Seven years in the making, the film features an unprecedented cast of 100 celebrity narrators who focus on why we can’t seem to get along with each other — even after thousands and thousands of years — and explores humanity’s hopeful transformation from living by killing into living by loving.

The feature presents tales of love, tragedy and hope, all set against the backdrop of some of the most compelling 20th and 21st century footage imaginable.

The event will include a special introduction along with a Q&A with the filmmaker and celebrities involved.
