Winter registration has started for Bainbridge Performing Arts Theatre School classes.
Classes start Jan. 13 for pre-kindergarten through adult students. BPA Theatre School has a long history of providing quality performing arts education with experienced teaching artists and staff.
This winter, BPA Theatre School will offer Imagination Station with instructor Ricky Coates, and Beginning Broadway led by Emily Kight for our youngest students.
Creative Drama and Bainbridge to Broadway I will be available for children in grades 1–2 and grades 2–4, respectively.
Michelle Abad will lead Group Voice for kids in grades 3–8 and Bainbridge to Broadway II for grades 5–8.
Ricky Coates will give instruction in Advanced Acting for young actors in grades 6–10, and Barbara Deering will head the Homeschool Acting Class for ages 9–16.
Education director Josh Anderson will pilot a Musical Theater Boot Camp for teens from 13–19, and there will also be a Teen Intensive for youth in grades 9–12 with Liz Ellis.
Adults may select from Theater Dance (ages 16–adult) with Diane Peterson; Adult Musical Theater (ages 45 and up) under the guidance of Anderson and Deering; or the Shakespeare Appreciation Class with Tom Challinor.
According to BPA, the group atmosphere of the theatre school’s classes and productions builds respect, teamwork, and responsibility – qualities leading to self-confidence, self-awareness and character building that will last students a lifetime.
BPA Theatre School classes are held at BPA, 200 Madison Ave. North. To register, visit www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org.
