Georgia, 81, of Suquamish, WA, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, died of congestive heart failure. She was born in Redlands CA to William & Claudia Barlow. Georgia graduated from Redlands HS in 1949. Georgia married George in 1961. They lived in Palm Springs and Santa Barbara, CA. In 1967 they moved to Bainbridge Is., WA. In 1992 they moved to Suquamish, WA.
Georgia is survived by husband George, Suquamish; children Shawna (John) Ward, Hansville; David (Leslie), Kristin & Kaylee Cox, Bainbridge Is. (all of WA); and Grant (Frances) & Cashel Cox of Belmont CA. Georgia loved her Georgia family—cousins Joanne Odum, Lonnie & Bertha Barlow, Nola Jean Hardy, Rudy & Ann Lancaster, Linda & James Russell Lee, and many more. She was a friend to all, and mother to many. She will be greatly missed. Georgia worked at Olympic Glass on Bainbridge Island as Office Manager for over 20 years.
There will be a celebration of her life from 2-4 on April 28 at the Poulsbo Yacht Club, 18129 Fjord Drive NE. All who knew her are invited to celebrate.
