Andy Everett Rostron, age 48, a beloved husband, father, and friend passed away unexpectedly February 13, 2013 in Arizona. He was born in Anchorage, AK on April 29, 1964. His arrival followed the historic earthquake. His passing has created a monumental quake amongst all who knew him. Andy graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1982 before following his passion as a software engineer.
Andy was a modest, intimate man who gave generously of himself. The most valued asset in life for him was his children. His passion for family, friends, technology, astrophotography and much more, was always blessed by the abundance he gave willingly. The unknown never intimidated Andy, yet challenged him to discover solutions. A calm force of intelligence, intrigue and perseverance in all aspects of his life, Andy was always guided by his compassion, patience and love.
Andy is survived by his wife, Michele Rostron and his adored children; Melina, Logan and Brenna all of Arizona; mother, Marianne Rostron (WA); sisters Roseanne Rostron (Germany), Kristie Rostron (AK), Donna Rostron-Lehfeldt (WA), Sue Lamb (OR); brother Mike Rostron (WA); his former wife, Nicole Stone-Rostron and her son, Joey Stone both of AZ.
His death precedes his father, Donald, and sister Dianne, both of AK.
A private service was held in Arizona with burial to follow in Alaska.
